Hi,
am new to Apple with an IMAC, have installed Parallels desktop 3.0 and loaded XP Pro with SP2 onto IMAC.
I have downloaded transporter to my old XP machine and I believe it has prepared itself to be 'tranported'
However, before trying to go ahead I need to clarify if I can select which applications come across to the IMAC as I have loads of rubbish on the XP box that I dont want on the IMAC....there are just few applciations like:
ACT CRM; an accounts package; that I want to try and get to use on the IMAC....?
Also on the XP machine some of the progs/applications are on the C drive with the data on the D drive.....is this a problem....?
If transporter cant handle selective applications then I gues only way is to install each program afresh direct onto the IMAC.......???
I must say the whole 'conversion' to Apple is proving not quite as easy as I had been hoping/understood from others.....I just hope it proves worthwhile eventually to have ditched MS....!
...confused....!
