No Active Sync with iPAQ since 1848...

I have tried multiple later versions of Parallels including 3120, but version 1848 was the last versions that allowed my to sync my iPAQ 3870 using Active Sync. Am I the only one having problems with Active Sync? If this seems to be working for others I might be inclined to start a fresh XP installation.
