Im running Parallels Desktop 3.0 on a Mac Pro. I recently installed Gentoo, and being relatively new to Linux, I have no idea how to set up audio. OSS was the default, but when I realized audio wasnt working, I consulted a guide on gentoo.org and changed it to ALSA and recompiled the kernel. I tried it with both the Intel HD Audio and the Intel/etc. AC97 Controller drivers, but ALSA always gives me an error: Failed to load the necessary drivers. Any ideas what I should do?
