yes, I know there are 101 threads about this on the forums, but I have yet to find a solution that works.
I have a brand new copy of Windows XP Home (yes, I'm out $200) and build 1848. I got Parallels set up just fine, but when I go to install XP I have issues. In fact I had similar issue when I installed bootcamp. I throw my XP CD in the drive spins it, tries to look at it, spins it again and then spits it out! I solved it in Bootcamp by holding down the option key while I booted and got the install to work.
I've tried everything I've read on the forum: made the cd the 1st in boot sequence, changed teh IDE to 0:0 and 0:1, cleaned the cd....again the same ejection thing happened with bootcamp....does anyone have any ideas on this one?
