No Connectivity In Windows Xp! Can Anyone Help??

Manual Network Configuration?
I had the same issue, my DHCP was tring to assign my WinXP Virtual machine the same IP address as my Mac, a got a messegebox about this in Mac OS X, what I did is configure the network in windows manualy.

Config network in Windows
I assume you are connected via Airport (Wireless), and use a router to share an internet conection.
First check your current conf.
In Mac, go to System Preferences -> Network
Choose (Top Drpdowsn lists):
Location: Autimatic
Show: Airport
Then TCP/IP tab :
Write down yoy configuration (as an example i put mine):
IP Address: 192.168.2.199
subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Router:192.168.2.1
Dont make any changes here.
Now in windows:
Start->Control Panel
In the left panel clic on Switch to clasic view.
On the right side clic Network Conections
Select the Icon named Local Area Conection (this is your network card)
In the left panel choose Change settings
In General tab choose Internet Protocol
And clic Properites
Now in Internet Protocol Properties:
Select Use the folowing IP Address:
Put an address similar to your Macs IP, only change the rigth mos value by one. The other values are the same.
In my case:
IP Address: 192.168.2.198
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Router:192.168.2.1
Also select Use the following DNS
Preferd DNS: 192.168.2.1 <---- Your Router address
Press ok , for a quicker access to this settings, check box Show icon in notification area..

Make sure you are not using the same machine name under OS X and the guest OS. Also try changing your mac address (the guest ethernet mac address).
