no internet connection in VM, works fine in OS

on Parallels 3.0. downloaded a bunch of updates onto my iMac last night. after rebooting i noticed that i had no internet connectivity in VM - both IE & Outlook did not work. but my browser in OS worked fine.

any ideas on how to fix this?

Looks like the Parallels Network adapters on the Mac side were affected by the updates. Just uninstall Parallels Desktop 3 and install it again, either from your CD or DMG package. This should recreate the needed network adapters. It will not affect your virtual machines in any way, no data will be lost.
