No LAN or anything in Network Connections!

For some reason, on a fresh install of Parallels, I have no adapters listed in Network Connections in XP. There is no Local Area Network connection. The actual adapter is listed in device manager, but there are no connections.

I've tried reinstalling Parallels as per the sticky thread, as well as re-installing Parallels Tools, but to no avail.

I've also tried all the troubleshooting steps for getting Shared Networking to work as well as Bridged. But without an actual network connection item in XP, it obviously didn't do anything.

Please help!
 
I tried using the "new connection" wizard but it doesn't really do anything. Are there specific instructions to do this posted anywhere? Thanks.
