No sound within Linux VM?

Good Afternoon All,

I am not sure if I am the only one having this issue however, up until around a month ago, I was able to have sound within my linux VM's (to be more specific, I use both kali and Ubuntu). That being said, over time, the sound would occasionally stop working which would normally be resolved by a quick restart of the VM however, now, sound does not seem to work at all. I tested within my Window's VM and that works perfectly fine and even attempted re creating my Linux VM's but the issue still occurs. Any insight on this would be great appreciated.
