    Hi,

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 in Parallels desktop for Mac. I'm getting the following error:
    >>
    dave@dave-desktop:~$ mkdir test
mkdir: cannot create directory `test': No space left on device
    >>

The guest OS seems to think that its virtual hard drive is full, even though the host hard drive has several free gigs on it. Any ideas?

This happened after I restored a backup of the virtual machine using Mac`s time machine.

better to make manual back ups by cloning
(oops a Mac OS observation - a guess here)
