I'm trying to install the Windows 10 update 1903, but I only have 2GB left on a 64GB VM. I've tried a couple of things in Parallels (disk expand), and here is Windows Disk Management tool, but I can't extend the partition, because there isn't any unallocated space behind C. If I expand the disk in Parallels on that VM, it puts the unallocated space where you see 12MB Unallocated. i.e. it is not behind C, which it needs to be. I DO have some available space for my Mac, as it has a 256 SSD. What should be my steps here?
Hello @KirstenJ Please follow the steps from the article https://kb.parallels.com/123372 and check if it helps.
Using this article, I was able to delete the 12MB unallocated space, then issued tried to extend C: by 16GB, but it says not enough available space. See image below for current state. How do I get space to unallocated so I can extend C:?
Never mind on that. I figured out that I needed to extend C: without specifying size to absorb the 858MB, THEN go back into Parallels and try increasing the disk size there again. Success! Thank you for your help.
