On the windows client there are three options for Connection Mode: Regular Direct SSL On the mac client there are two options: Regular Direct We've set up our 2x servers with SSL because we're passing sensitive data. How do we get our Mac clients to do SSL? If that's not possible how do we get our 2x serves to speak both SSL and regular?
Hi there, Currently ssl is only available to windows clients only. 2X servers can be configured to receive regular, direct & ssl at the same time. These can be configured from the "Connection settings" -> "Client gateway" page. Till now there is no plan to implement ssl on mac clients. Nixu
any future plans Given the increased penetration of macs in educational environments like mine (up to 50% amongst faculty and students) are there any future plans to include the same SSL encryption for your Mac client as you do your PC one? Could I make such a feature request? We've tried to implement this ourselves with SSL enabler and STunnel but haven't had much luck. Has anyone out there gotten a third party SSL encryption solution to work? I'd also love it if there were the same silent install and configuration capabilities on both platforms. Using switches or by editing the MSI you provide windows users the ability to install, configure, and connect with one double click. With the Mac client you need to do all of these steps manually. You even have to know the published application names! If the Mac client were cleaned up a bit it would be a great way to provide Windows apps to Mac clients...easier, cheaper, and more managable and secure than Parallels or BootCamp. You're missing out on a big market here.
