Hi,
We just bought a 2.2.2166 version of Parallels Workstation. But we used the 2.2.2222 trial on the same machine since a few days. Now I wanted to activate the 2.2.2222 with the serial number, but I'm getting a error message that I don't have a valide activation code for the 2222 build.
The whole process is a bit strange 2222. Wenn 2222 was installed I entered the serial and got the error message. OK maybe something wrong with the installation, so I deinstalled parallels. After an reboot I installed the 2166 build. First start and I got the message "Hey there is a new version!" But I first wanted to check if it is really working.
Then I clicked on Help -> Check for Updates and got the message that I already have the latest version (still 2166 installed).
After that I clicked on the 2222 installer (which I still had) and got the following message.
What is going on here? Am I not allowed to update to a new build even if the version didn't changed?
