no virtual machine harddisk icon on my desktop

i was used to see after startup on my desktop the windows virtual machine harddrive icon below the mac drives. however it completely dissapeared.

you can see this missing icon in: Users/Username/Documents/Parallels/Virtualmachinename/...hdd

anybody with a suggestion how to get it back again ?

btw i repaired persmissions......

Please check in cnfiguration of your Virtual Machine if such option enabled:

Configure-> Shared Folder -> Mount Virtual Disks to Mac OS X Desktop
