I need to configure my macbook pro so that my assistant can access acctg software running in windows on my laptop. I do not want to open up my whole laptop nor do I want to have my data in the cloud. Our main office is in a rural area with crappy internet service. I need fast access to my data at all times. My asst is working from a pc desktop. Any Suggestions? I have been trying to get an answer from parallels but have been on hold for over 55 mins.
There are three ways to do this. You can choose anyone from this and each of these has its own pros and cons - 1. Run a Virtual Machine. 2. Run Wine. 3. Run Windows Native with Boot Camp.
