Is there a compatibility issue with NProtect GameGuard? I'm trying to play Phantasy Star Online 2 from the Microsoft Store, but it's anti-cheat protection keeps firing off, throwing NP1013 (Basic Explanation: An application or service is conflicting with the GameGuard protection, or GameGuard protection is other wise being hindered from operating, and therefore cannot continue to run.). However, there are no other tools or applications installed outside of Steam, and there is no compatibility issues with the steam application; nor is the steam application running at time of launch, nor error occurrence. No non-system tools are running, and the system has been stripped down to its bare essentials to prevent compatibility issues. Exploit Protection has been disabled, and Windows Defender real-time protection has also been turned off, with no results. Game has been reinstalled numerous times, via multiple methods, with no results. NProtect GameGuard is a "rootkit-level" form of anti-cheat protection, monitoring memory, and checking for any live file or process tampering; Is there something in the way Parallels Desktop works that prevent anti-cheat engines such as this from running? Currently running Parallels Desktop 15 for Mac (Home & Student Edition).
