Numeric keypad doesn't work

Does anybody have an idea why my numeric keypad on my apple keyboard does not work with Parallel (nor does it work in Boot camp)?

Does anybody have an idea why my numeric keypad on my apple keyboard does not work with Parallel (nor does it work in Boot camp)?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but did you turn on NUM Lock? On my Logitech KB, the key is marked "Clear"

I knew it must be something simpe (or stupid) Why would anybody think that the "clear" button is the Num Lock? I figured since there are no arrows on the keys there is no need for "Num lock" on the Mac keyboard. I'm new to Mac...
