On the Mac side I have office 2008 installed and on the windows XP Sp3 side I have Office 2007 installed. I have the latest version of 4.x of parallels
If i try to open a powerpoint, excel or word document by clicking on the file from within Parallels on the windows side the windows office application freezes and I have to use ctl, alt, del to kill the app. I can open the file just fine if I open the app first then through it open the file.
Please any help would be appreciated on what I need to set to fix this. Any advice or fixes would be appreciated as I can't imagine that I am the only one with this problem. A web search on this topic yielded nothing so hopefully someone here can shed some light. Thanks in advance.
