OK to update video drivers?

I have parallels using the bootcamp partition, everything is working great on my MBP, occasionally I boot into windows to play half-life 2, should I install the latest ATI drivers to maximize performance?

Shut down your VM and make a backup of the files to a CD or DVD first. Restart Windows and then install the drivers. If it all goes to hell you can reload your archives from the CD and not lose a byte of data.
