On linux : fn ctrl alt F1 freezes

Hi,

I'm using parallels desktop for mac, hosting a minimal debian etch. I have a little problem with it when I try to access to the console, typing fn+ctrl+alt+F1 (wich send the same thing without fn to the VW).
The result is weird, as if the VW could not switch to a good resolution

The same thing appends when I stop the host OS.

Could you help me ?
