I have all those copies of XP lying around unused -- one bought with VPC, one from old Vaio, one from old Dell, etc. I paid for all those licences! :)

Do I have to buy yet another copy of XP to work under parallels? It's 650 Francs here in Switzerland (ca. 500 USD). Ouch.

I wasn't able to install any of the above XPs, so fell back on Win98, which works horribly at the moment under Parallels, at least in my case.

    Hi,

I had an old XP (no service pack) laying around.
I slipstreamed (added SP2) the disk on another XP machine and burned
a new CD from my Mac.

    I was able to install.
What types of issues are you having??
