I feel that the opening sequence of Parallels is very much "in your face"! The blue screen fills the entire screen and is then followed by another full-screen seascape picture before finally going into Coherence mode. As Parallels is designed to allow a seamless transfer between Mac and Windows it seems counter intuitive to start up with a very intrusive procedure which takes over the entire screen for several minutes. Personally, I would like to see Parallels work silently and unobtrusively in the background. As much as its creators may be proud of it, Parallels is very much a servant and should learn to know its place.
