Hi, just wondering if anyone has any tips or 'rules of thumb' for optimising VM/Host performance? I've been trying to assess just by timing start-up and task response times but wondered if there might be a more scientific way to approach this. I'm running a Windows 10 VM via PD13 on a MacMini (2.3 GHz Intel Core i7) with macOS Sierra 16GB RAM. In configuration I have the Resource usage set to 'No Limit' in Optimization, in CPU & Memory 'Processors' is set to 2 (Recommended) and 'Memory' at 4GB (the Recommended range is given as 512MB-15.5GB) and in Graphics 'Memory' is set to 256MB (Recommended). I have fairly 'hungry' Cad and analysis programmes in the VM with more run-of-the-mill productivity programs on the host. I understand there's no silver bullet answer but would be interested to know how others approach getting the best out of both platforms. Cheers!
