Since my upgrade to 10.4.8 Parallels quits as soon as you start the VM. Downgrading to 1986.2 does not reproduce this problem. After reading some comments on this forum, I tried something that Andrew@Parallels suggested: disable sound - and viola, the VM doesn't crash anymore. Once the VM has loaded, the moment you enable sound, Parallels crashes.
Andrew, any ideas on what to do? I need to have the sound enabled...
Edit: OK, false alarm. Just read through the crash report, and one of the things that came up was a plugin I use within iTunes that just got updated, OSS 3D. It seems like this was the culprit - uninstalled it and Parallels is fine again with sound.
