From your email, I understand that you are facing HiDPI resolution with Mavericks as a guest OS in a Mavericks HOST OS.
Parallels uses its own graphics emulated drivers. So, you cannot enable HiDPI resolution with Mavericks as a guest OS in Parallels Desktop.
The only way you may increase the graphics performance:
Configure -> Video -> increase Ram and enable 3D acceleration and retina display.
Please feel free to contact us, if you have any further inquiries about graphics issue in Parallels Desktop."
Open Terminals and run the command as " sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist DisplayResolutionEnabled -bool true ".
Restart your virtual machine and try to change the resolution in Mavericks running as virtual machine, hope you will find HIDPI settings available now.
Feelingweird, try the solution NCjohnboy outlined above.
