Out of Windows Virtual Memory

Anyone else having problems with "Running out of Windows Virtual Memory".

I am running PD 4.0381 on an iMac 6.1 with 3 GB of memory. Memory wise I have it set to "Automatic" in preferences.

On the windows side I have the virtual memory setting set to the default "system managed"

The weird thing is that I get the "Running of Windows Virtual Memory" error right after start up and other then AV software I'm not loading anything.

Any ideas on how to correct?

This might need a closer investigation and I would suggest you to create a ticket in our support line.

However, just in case:
1. Have you tried increasing the virtual memory allocation in Virtual machine -> Configure -> Memory
2. Could you please specify whether the erro message is on the Windows side or on Parallels. (i.e. does the Windows finishes loading when the error appears?)

1. I have increased the memory setting from 1652 to the "Maximum Receommended - 1952k"
2. The error message is a Windows error message and does not happen at boot up but rather at random times during
the session.
3. Finally I created a ticket No. ID 125492

Desgael,

The request to increase memory allocation has not worked. Attached pix of Windows error. Also no reply ticket submitted ever. ???

Hello,

Can you please try the following (i hope you may open some windows in Virtual machine), or try to do it after restart of Virtual Machine

1) Start -> Control Panle -> System -> advanced-> Performance -> Settings -> Advanced-> Virtual Memory -> Change -> increase memory

Please update us with results.
