outlook 2013 screen refresh issue - still assessing

Hi,

I have a [non-retina] MBPro 15" i7 8GB RAM, 256 GB SSD. I have latest version of Parallels 8. I have Windows 8 x64 installed in a VM with 4 CPUs and 4 GB RAM & 512 MB Video RAM (DirectX v9). I have just installed Office 2013.

In Outlook, I have the reading pane enabled and on the right of the display. sometimes when browsing the messages, the text in the message is not formatted properly - sometimes not appearing until it is scrolled and sometimes woking to different margin sizes.

As this is new I am still assessing whether it is an Office 2013 thing, a parallels thing (Coherence / full screen / windowed), a video setting thing, or a "I have an external monitor" thing.

Just thought I would flag it straight away to see if there has been anything similar experienced.

testing DirectX 10 compatibility and view - coherence, full screen, windowed.

I have changed the Video options to DirectX10 (experimental) and enable Full resolution for Retina display (even though I don't have one

I left the Video RAM at 512 MB.

So Far it is looking better even in Coherence.

I'm seeing the same thing. I have DirectX 10, 1024 Video RAM, 3072 RAM, Win8 fully patched, and Office 2013.
