OVA file to Parallels help needed

Can anyone help with importing a virtual box file in open virtualization format (.ova) into Parallels 7 for Mac? I need step by step instructions and can't seem to find any in the user guide. Please help.

Unfortunately Parallels Desktop doesn't support ovf format directly.
You can export ovf vm to vbox vm using VirtualBox and then open it in Parallels Destkop to convert.
Or you can try to convert virtual harddisk from ovf vm using prl_convert utility.
 
Where may I find the prl_convert utility? Is this a separate download or integrated within Parallels Desktop.
 
Type prl_convert in terminal.
If it doesn't help, type in terminal
find /Library/Paralels -name "prl_convert"
and use full path to the utility
