I've got a MacBook, so the function keys are all mapped as doing something else unless I hold the fn key on the keyboard. While annoying, it isn't that much of a problem until I get to F9-F12. Those, of course, are the keys used in Tiger for Expose and the Dashboard. I have a couple programs in Windows that use those keys as shortcuts. However, even holding the fn key down while using the F9-F12 keys does not work, as OS X treats that combination the same as just pushing the key by itself. Other than remapping the shortcuts in OS X, is there a way to get those shortcuts ignored while in the Parallels application?

I just use a USB keyboad and mouse

    and a second screen

bending over a laptop may hurt your neck in the long term - not very egonomic
