P9 and Yosemite

Have checked threads but could not find this issue.
OK, upgraded to Yosemite. Am running latest version of P9 on a new (2013) iMac. P9 is very slow and sluggish. Is this a known issue that will be solved with upgrading to P10?

Just bought P9 in May and have been holding off buying P10 so soon after initial purchase.
