Palm PDA Device unable to Synchronize with VM

I am unable to Synchronize my Palm 755p mobile phone with my Parallels 4.0 VM (Windows XP Home).

I have read the bug reports for the latest build 4.0.3810 and it mentions an issue with this and states that the bug has been fixed. It is not fixed.

I have restarted my VM numerous times, along with my iMac OS 10.5.6 and disconnected the USB and reconnected it and removed all other USB attatchments to my iMac. Nothing works.... I have tried every combination of the standard resets, and nothing works.

Please advise from here.

"Stop the Palm synchronization and start it again.

Click Cancel on the Palm device's screen to stop the synchronization, then start it again. The device will be automatically connected to the virtual machine. Make sure you do not connect any other devices to your Mac when working with Palm."

I am amazed, it is one thing after another with this new 4.0 software
