paralels refuses to open after re-installation

    pls help me with the following problem:

    I had downloaded Parallels Desktop for Mac as a trial version it appeared to be working satisfactorily and I decided to
    buy the full version. This is where the problem starts.
    Whilst I was traveling, which is part of my job, it appeared difficult to buy it online and I ordered a cd-version
    through my office in The Netherlands. It took a considerable time and the trial expired.
    When I received the code from the version bought in Holland, it did not work with the installed version.
    I removed the program from the harddisk and installed the cd-version. However since then the program refuses to
    open and I am unable to use it or cannot even put the activation code in.

    When i read back, this is quite a story but the bottomline is simple: the re-installed version refuses to open.
    Please help me to resolve this problem so that I can use the program.
