I installed Ubuntu Dapper VM on XP home host. All went well except I cannot seem to install Parallels Tools; nor can I configure the VM anymore.
About a week ago, I copied the Parallels file containing the VM using Nero. I created a data disk. That seemed to go alright too.
Ever since I cannot make any changes to the VM configuration.
I created a brand-new VM for a fresh install of Dapper. The configuration editor seemed to be okay in this but I still could not install Parallels Tools.
The end result is that I have to manually update the date/time [which is annoying] and I don't have full use of my soundcard. I can hear, but not record.
Is there a way for me to fix this?
I've filed bug reports.
