hi, I am planning to buy subscription for parallel. will use it on macbook pro with m1 chip. Do i need to upgrade parallel everytime( by paying money) whenever there is a upgrade in macos?
If you buy the yearly subscription you can just download the next version (Parallels 17) when it becomes available without any extra costs. If you buy Parallels for a one-time payment, that will only be for the version you bought. You can upgrade to all 16.x releases but not to 17. You'd still be able to use 16 with Monterey, though.
