Parallels 10 and Sierra

I am sure this question has been asked already. I have an iMac running Sierra. I had swapped drives and I cloned the old drive with the new SSD drive. Next, I upgraded from El Capitan to Sierra. Previously, I was running PD 10 on El Capitan and everything was working. Now, when I try to use PD 10 it crashes and it doesn't work.
I understand PD 10 is not compatible with Sierra. Therefore I guess I can't reinstall PD 10. However, I will need to upgrade PD to a newer version.
I want to make sure PD 10 doesn't work on Sierra even if I use a new product activation key.
What is the best way to install a new PD version?

Hi philip_fisher1. Please note that Parallels Desktop 10 is not compatible with macOS Sierra and even with the new license key it is not possible to install/activate version 10 on macOS Sierra. Please refer this article for the instructions to install or upgrade to the latest version of Parallels Desktop for Mac.
