installed MacOS 10.13 update. Parallels 11 wouldn't boot Windows 10 BootCamp, which previously ran without problems. Windows 10 BootCamp runs fine under BootCamp via Macbook restart. Upgraded to Parallels 13.1.1 (43120) Won't boot Windows 10 BootCamp. boot Parallels, My Boot Camp launches: drop-down says "The specified file cannot be used as a virtual hard disk. Please specify another file. [OK]" OK dismisses drop-down new drop-down says "Unable to connet to Hard Disk 1. A file or device required for the operation of Hard Disk 1 does not exist or is used by another process, or you have no permission to access it. Tried some suggestions from the website & from the forum, to no avail. How to fix?
Hi @johns38, we released a new update Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac Update 2 Hotfix 1(13.2.0-43213) and this update addresses this issue. To check for updates, click on the Parallels Desktop menu on Mac menu bar and select Check for Updates: http://kb.parallels.com/124262
