Hi there, very interested in enabling the TouchID Sign-in option in the new Parallels 19. However, after update Parallels tools and updating my Windoze 11 installation this option is still unavailable to enable in the Windoze 11 settings under Windows Hello. Anyone know how this is enabled please?
I read the KB article. Still doesn't work for me. I've upgraded Parallels to the newest, installed all Win 11 updates. All I use is a password to sign in to Win 11. When the login screen comes up, my name is there, I type in the password. However, there is nothing there about enabling Touch ID to sign in. I've updated the Parallels tools in Win 11, rebooted several times, still no go for me.
I want to know how do I disable this feature? I do not want it to ever pop up when i launch a VM, is there any way to disable it?
Hello, Please note that we have submitted a feature request to add the option to disable Touch ID In Windows 11 to our Development team. Once there is a response from them - whether it is a request for additional information, a workaround or a permanent fix - we will let you know. Thank you.
Hello @MacK3 , We have created a case for you to assist you configuring the Touch ID option. Thank you.
Could you open such ticket for me too, please? My installation behaves exactly the same. No hint of Touch ID support anywhere.
Oh...... no need anymore. I just figured out that using the Technical Preview version (Build 54568) was the culprit. The Release version (Build 54570) updated my Parallels Tools - and there: Touch ID was being presented immediately. Guys, buy the new version then!
