    Parallels 3 build 4128 - New MacBook Pro 3.1-PROBLEM!!

I am running OS X 10.4.10, 2gb memory. I installed Parallels (twice, following the knowledge base article "Problems When Installing or Running Parallels Desktop for uninstall). Then I use all the defaults for the install, using XP Express Install. I selected the "More Productive Virtual macine(Default). I got the XP install as far as the last 9 minutes where it was "saving settings" before it "suspended" and the little green squares at the bottom of the screen were not moving:confused: . I cannot get it to complete.

I am experienced in XP but brand new to Mac.

I really REALLY need Parallels to work.

    HELP PLEASE!

Transform your Windows XP CD into an ISO image, and try installing from that image.

Also make sure the windows CD you are trying to use is a SP2 version.

I will obtain Windows XP that includes SP2. My current CD doesn't INCLUDE it though I have the SP2 CD from MS.

I don't know what an ISO image is. Can you enlighten me?

    Thanks.
