Parallels 3: Stop auto changing my resolution!

Is it possible to stop Parallels 3 from automatically changing the resolution when I switch out of full-screen mode? I want to have the scroll bars when my resolution in Windows is greater than what the window size is. I have deslected 'custom screen resolutions' and it still occurs.

Help!
 
I had a similar issue. In my VM configuration editor I left the 'custom screen resolution' selected but under Parallels main menu in -> Preferences -> Appearance I deselected;

Full Screen: [] Change Mac OS X resolution​

This solved my issue.
