Parallels 3 will not startup

I have installed and uninstalled Parallels now a number of times trying to resolve this issue. I cannot get Parallels 3.0 to startup - it crashes before anything happens. Cannot even install Windows on to the computer. I have removed all preference files and started over as well - does anyone have any suggestions?

How does it crash exactly? Any error messages, logs, etc?

Also, when you mention that you have reinstalled it, have you tried a complete reinstall as per http://kb.parallels.com/en/4790

Thanks for the help - I had already done the terminal thing which didn't help but when I updated to the newest version it fixed everything. Appreciate it!
