Parallels 9 Windowed Mode Disappears

I recently purchased Parallels Desktop 9 and for a while (several weeks) everything was great. It really is a better product than VMware Fusion, and I like the fact I can make use of two monitors.

But this week, I started having issues that I cannot resolve. I am running Windows 8.1 on a Mac Pro running Mavericks. Mavericks is up to date running 10.9.3, Windows is up to date and so is parallels. The problem I am having is that I can no longer interact with my VM unless it is in Coherence or full screen mode. When I switch out of full screen mode, I watch the window animate and scale down, but it then disappears completely. If I use mission control, it shows the window with the vm in it on desktop 1 and I can even move the window to another desktop from within mission control, however when I click the VM, it loads the desktop but the windowed version of windows 8.1 is no where to be seen. It's as if the window is "hidden" and nothing I can do can change it.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Parallel Tools in Windows but the issue still remains, I can either use coherence or full screen mode (I cannot get it to full screen on monitor 2 though), I cannot use the VM in a window because it is completely hidden.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS. I work in the IT field and all of my colleagues are stumped by this as well. It was working for a while, but not anymore. If I cannot get this working, I will be requesting a refund. Thank you.
 
Ok, so here was my issue. The Windowed mode was simply off screen. Since I was working with two monitors, when I left "full screen" mode, it moved the window off screen. In order for me to locate the window, I went to system preferences (apple menu in the upper left). Clicked displays and changed the arrangement of the displays. Once I did that, the windowed VM popped back onto the screen and I could interact with it again.

It was a Mac issue, not a Parallels problem. Hope this helps others who stumble across this issue.

Hi KyleMurphy,

Please follow the steps as suggested below:

1. Start the Virtual Machine.
2. Go to VM Configure(http://kb.parallels.com/117287)-> Options-> Full Screen-> Enable "Use All Displays in Full Screen"
3. Turn off the option "Displays have separate Spaces" in System Preferences-> Mission Control. Please note that this would affect all programs on Mac OS.
4. Go to Windows Virtual Machine Screen resolution( http://bit.ly/1gYEhDN ) where all the displays connected to your Mac will be displayed.
5. Restart Windows and Restart Mac and let us know how it works.
