Can someone please explain to me why whenever a new version of Parallels comes out, they completely ditch support for previous versions and stop releasing patches/updates? And on top of that, they expect loyal users to pay a whopping $50 to upgrade (over 60% of the full price!)? I don't get it. I would expect something like $20-$30 for an upgrade fee, not $50. I still have Parallels 5. Parallels 6 doesn't look that much more advanced enough to upgrade, but in P5, Ubuntu still is broken and can't do coherence mode because Parallels Tool won't install without an error.

    This is absolutely unacceptable.
