Parallels and Boot Camp

I was wondering if I could use the same Windows Partition for both Parallels and Boot Camp. I'm about to run the Windows installer on Parallels but was wondering if it actually creates a partition that I can boot from using Boot Camp if I would like to use as a dedicated computer?
 
Bootcamp

Create the Bootcamp partition first then install Parallels. Only problem is with the latest version you might find some oddball Wined3d_CapsWidnow errors when trying to run a bootcamp/Windows game. At least this is my newest issue since installing v356x
