Parallels and PGP Whole Disk Encryption

I have Parallels 5 running on a MBP 2.6 GHz, 4GB RAM, 512MB Video Memory. I have sluggish performance and I'm wondering if it's because of PGP WDE. I previously had Parallels 4 running on the same computer and it was okay. I had some issues, but switching between XP in Parallels and Mac OS X was fast. I have Parallels loading in a separate Expose window and moving back and forth was fast. Now that I have PGP installed it is sluggish. Anyone else having this issue?

I have my VM set to use 2GB of memory and 256 of video memory.
 
I posted this 2 years ago and nobody bothered to respond. I'm still having this issue with crap performance on my Mac with a fresh install. I guess it's time to move to VMWare. Maybe they'll be more responsive.
