Parallels boot of Boot Camp Windows takes a long time

I have a MacBookPro5,1 that has Windows 7 Enterprise x64 installed via Boot Camp.

I have been able to configure both Parallels and VMware Fusion to run the Boot Camp installation in a virtual machine.

When I boot the system up in WMware Fusion it takes about as long to boot as the native installation.

However, when I boot the system in Parallels it takes over 3 minutes to boot up. Once it has boot it runs fine, it just takes a really long time.

What can be done to reduce the time the system takes to boot in Parallels?
 
Well, I've posted this problem for several days no, and no has responded.

So far, I have not seen any indication that anyone else is having this kind of problem, which makes me concerned about whether it will get resolved.

I would suspect there must be some log files or something that can be used to diagnose why this process is taking so long.

What do people know of that would be helpful?
 
I don't know what is going on. I've tried booting to Windows a few, and I've noticed different results. Sometimes it only takes about a minute to boot up, which is quite acceptable, and I think that probably how long it takes for WMware Fusion to boot the system as well.
One time it took about 2 minutes 45 seconds to boot up. I don't know why. At first I thought maybe dropping the processors from 2 to 1 made a difference. However, the last time I started up it only took 1 minutes using 2 processors.

What do people know about settings and such that can affect the boot speed of the virtual system?
