Hi!

Yesterday it was a massage that says "the startup disk is full, remove blabla...". It ended Parallels Desktop. Today my virtual drive can't recognize Win XP and all my apps and shared folder, have disappeared, and Parallels ask me to install a new OS. Any ideas on why, and especially how I can recover it?

Regards /Dennis

Hello Denis,

Please check if you can open the virtual hard disk contents by Parallels Mounter.
Right click the .hdd file and choose "Open with" -> "Parallels Mounter".

Best regards,
Xenos

I opened my VM but did not run it
and cloned it to an external Firewire Hard disks

I now keep all my VM on external disks and run them from there
