Parallels crashes when executing macOS

Parallels outright freezes immediately as soon as I start a macOS VM and requires me to force quit it three times before I can interact with the interface again; not that it's of any use anyway, seeing as Parallels basically does not have any control over the VM past its creation.

I completely understand that Apple's virtualisation framework is very new and it will take time to update Parallels to work well with it, but could we perhaps get some engineering/dev-oriented updates on how that's going? I'd like to know what's in store for the short- and mid-terms.
