Parallels Crashes

Hey everyone! I recently installed Parallels desktop on my macbook pro so I could run windows for a college course. After install, I tried to open parallels so I could install XP, and Parallels won't even boot. It tries and then OS X gives me a message saying the application has quit unexpectedly. I tried restarting the computer and even reinstalling the software.... no dice. Any ideas?

Hello Christopher,

I guess that you have Parallels Desktop 3.0. In this case I would recommend you to download build 5626 of 3.0 version:
http://download.parallels.com/v3/en/GA/Parallels-Desktop-5626-Mac-en.dmg

And reinstall Parallels Desktop according to this article:
