Is there any Parallels software package within a reasonable price that offers the same features as Parallels Desktop for Mac for Linux?

There's nothing like this reported in the search results and it has been impossible to contact any people from Parallels to answer this question.

IMO AMD processors are much better than Intel, and unfortunately since Mac has chosen to only make Macs using Intel processors I would much prefer a Linux desktop with a virtualization package that can support playing games under Windows XP.

However, it seems like every package that does this is Mac only (ie. VMWare Fusion), and Parallels Workstation Extreme does not support DirectX.

Is there any hope this will be supported in the future? or is it supported now?
