At this time, student edition licenses are available only as 1-year subscriptions. Such a license will expire after a year, at which time you will no longer be able to use Parallels Desktop unless you buy a new license key.

Hi, I have an old version of parallels desktop 13 on my old PC, which I don't use anymore. I have another old version 14 on my laptop. I bought a new machine and would like to get a version 15 on it. I am now a student and got the 50% discount code. But it does not seem to work for one time purchase, is this an error or only for subscription purchase? I do not want the subscription. I want the one-time purchase with student discounts advertised, no where it was saying that the discount is only for subscriptions only. This is frustrating, wasting my time.

I tried this already, tried again following your link. After I verify and get the 9 letters code, when I click continue it directs me to the purchase page of 1 year subscription only. When I go into the permanent license purchase page, and enter my code, it returns me with an invalid code! Please make sure if this is working.
