There has not been any updates for Parallels for Linux for over a year now. Is there going to be one to bring it up to the level of Parallels for Mac 3.0 or is it just going to die a slow death?

    Parallels Workstation 2.2 2204 Sep 20, 2007

It is certainly not Sep 2008 already.

The 2164 build installed on Ubuntu 7.04 but did not on Ubuntu 7.10.

Build 2204 does install on Ubuntu 7.10.

    Hello Art and Mdlueck,

We apologize for the long delay of Parallels Workstation update. Of course we do not want it to die a slow death. A new version is being developed but this process is very slow. Please sorry.

    Best regards,
    Xenos

    Parallels Update

I have build 2204 installed. It still has same problems as previous builds, no usb2, no dates when viewing folders and files from WinXP on samba server and it is quite a bit slower on Linux than Fusion is on Macbook, and Macbook has slower core 2 duo processor than the Dell Latitude. Even Parallels for mac was faster on Macbook.
